At Garlic Trampoline I present recipes that I prepare for my family as well as thoughts on photography, business, family, social media, art, volleyball and whatever else happens to be jumping around in my head. Remember, I’m not just here for the food.
Most recipes will be uncomplicated, weekday food (complicated is reserved for weekends and situations involving well dressed people). The recipes come from my own collection, cooking magazines, books, or places on the web. I’ll always try a recipe before posting it and I will always give credit to outside sources when I use them . If we go out to eat, I’ll post a review. I already conduct restaurant reviews in my head using a fake French accent and saucy metaphors; posting them will just make it legitimate and less creepy.
Why Garlic Trampoline? I love to cook and I love to write. The problem is that cooking can become a chore and I frequently think about writing more than I actually write. Selfishly, this blog is an attempt to reconnect with my inner chef who wants to channel her inner writer. So, here I am with some recipes and a keyboard; cooking, writing, cooking, writing…
I’m married with two children, a boy, 17 and a girl, 13.
